Mercedes-Benz’s hardcore division Brabus, is back in the spotlight with its latest tuning project carried out on a Bentley model, the Continental GT.

Photographed in Austria, the car is presented not as a concept or teaser, but as a finished expression of the tuner’s 900 Superblack treatment, applied to a luxury grand tourer that didn’t exactly need rescuing in the first place.

Exterior

In terms of visuals, Brabus fitted the Continental GT with a one-off carbon fiber body kit, consisting of a new front splitter, revised air intakes, and a discreet lip spoiler at the front.

The rear end hasn’t been left untouched either; the tuner is also installing new tailpipes linked to a stainless exhaust system with active flaps. The exterior is also complemented by a new set of wheels, Monoblock ZM Platinum Edition, sized 22 inches both front and rear. That provides the car with a better stance and aggressiveness.

Brabus also replaced the Bentley badges with its own logos, while the exterior is finished in a deep glossy black paint that reinforces the Superblack identity without trying to be subtle about it.

Interior

Step inside, and the theme continues with the same Brabus signature. It has carbon fiber trims all over, quilted, perforated leather upholstery, and custom door sills. The same Brabus logos are observed in the cabin, which is seen on many surfaces and makes the intervention of the tuner indisputable.

The outcome is intentional and harmonious instead of ornamental, and the materials used are meant to highlight the new nature of the car.

Complete Powertrain Information

The car also worked its magic under the hood by Brabus, who transformed the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the car with new power. It was fitted with a new set of turbochargers, a carbon-fiber airbox, and a new ECU remap, which propelled the car to a combined total of an unbelievable 900 horsepower with a peak torque value of 1,100 Nm of torque. As for sprint, in standard form, the Bentley Continental GT runs the 0 to 100 km/h mark in 3.2 seconds; but with the new mechanical installments, the Brabus 900 Superblack speeds up to 100 km/h in an impressive 2.9 seconds. Top speed is also electronically-limited to 335 km/h.

Pricing

As for prices, Brabus is selling its modified Bentley Continental GT for no less than $577,925, at current exchange rates. Expensive or not, it is up to you to decide.

Conclusion

Seen against Austria’s winter backdrop, the Brabus 900 Superblack Coupe comes across as confident rather than restrained. It doesn’t attempt to soften its intent, whether through its visual upgrades, power figures, or price. From my point of view, honesty may be the most defining part of the package.
