Ford Mustang, in its latest interpretation, is also known internally as the S650, and has been in the spotlight for quite some time lately, the model becoming a tuning opportunity for different tuning companies, such as Pandem.
Pandem appears ready to take advantage of that moment with a widebody package designed specifically for the newest Mustang.
The announcement of their newest project was made in a social media post, with the Japanese-based tuner revealing the parts and components that were to be applied to the car. More than that, the good news is that the body parts are available for worldwide shipping, which means that these tuning upgrades are not limited to just one region.
At first glance, the kit dramatically changes the car’s presence. The modifications center around wide bolt-on body components, which give the Mustang a far more muscular appearance. Some observers might even mistake the result for something coming out of Liberty Walk’s garage—though that comparison is clearly meant as a compliment.
The new setup includes extended front fender attachments and matching rear three-quarter panel extensions. Both parts use a bolt-on style, joined by new side skirts and lip-mounted to the front bumper, which widens the car`s body for a more aggressive stance.
At the rear, the S650 Ford Mustang received a new diffuser and a new ducktail spoiler, also enhancing the aggressive design. The overall look is hard to miss, especially once everything is combined.
The particular S650 Mustang shown in the images wears a satin burgundy exterior finish that stands out immediately. Black details appear across the bodywork, and a few decals contribute additional visual character. The wheels are also worth noting, as they feature visible rivets that reinforce the widebody aesthetic.
There is also a clear change in stance, with the car standing closer to the ground than in standard form. That means that it also received an adjustable air suspension. As for power upgrades, the information released in the media does not specify any changes, while the interior also seems to remain untouched.
Prices of the body parts are available on the tuner`s official site and include a whole list of pieces available for worldwide shipping. For instance, you can get the front lip at $1,240, while the front fender attachments will add another $1,420. On the other hand, the rear fender attachments will cost you $1,640, and the side skirts will add another $1,520.
Even without touching the interior or the powertrain, the widebody transformation alone changes the personality of the S650 Mustang quite dramatically. Whether that look appeals to everyone is another question entirely—but it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.
