The challenging duo is not as pricy as expected, Mopar making the tuned models cheaper but as durable as other companies, but keeping the authenticity on the same level as always, the huge fanbase being behind all of this and wanting this kind of demonic duo for the longest time.
You don’t have to be a Mopar fan or even a muscle car lover to appreciate the fact that Dodge keeps delivering power to the people with its ever-sharper Challenger and Charger – if you love fast cars, you’ll probably encounter this feeling. Of course, the stated status of the muscle pair also indicates that more and more owners are seeking originality, with the custom Charger we have here being a good example as good as any other.
We’re staring at a Mopar build that holds the budget reasonable, beginning with the model taken for the project. As such, this is a Charger R/T Scat Pack. Engine choice aside, this is a 2017 car, so it predates the stock widebody option available to these days.
Many fans recognize the Scat Pack to be the sweet spot of the range, since this makes the 485 hp 6.4-liter HEMI for a starting price of about $40,000.
As for the mods applied to this example of the super-sedan, none of those is the expensive type. For beginners, the vehicle now rides closer to the road, but it seems like we’re dealing with a static setup preferably than an air suspension. Then we have the custom wheels, which emphasize a rather simple double-six-spoke design with a gunmetal grey finish.
The car has been delivered the full-black treatment, which obviously works shocks on a large machine with a powerful design like the Charger. And if we glance at the lower side of the four-door, we’ll notice that the front apron was decorated with a splitter, which is held in position by a pair of rods. As for the rear bumper, this has got a diffuser-style detail.
Oh, and let’s not ignore the… red eyes, with these halo lights, reminding us of the 797 horsepower Charger Hellcat Redeye that Dodge lately included as part of its 2021 offensive.
Unlike other companies, unfortunately Mopar doesn’t include a warranty on their products, the main reason being the fact that they modify older cars and they either already got out of warranty or the mods on them gets them automatically out of warranty.
