DarwinPro Aero Adds Carbon Fiber Exterior Package to the Ferrari Purosangue

The Ferrari Purosangue continues to attract aftermarket attention, and this latest example comes from DarwinPro Aero, which has introduced a new visual package built around exposed carbon fiber details rather than mechanical upgrades.

The company calls it the IMP Design Carbon Fiber Soft Kit, and while the name suggests restraint, the result still changes the appearance of Ferrari’s crossover quite noticeably. A revised front aero section appears at the lower fascia, extended side skirts run along both flanks, and the rear receives a new diffuser. Above that sits a roof-mounted wing described as functional.

What is notable here is that the powertrain remains untouched—or at least no changes have been mentioned. DarwinPro Aero has not referred to additional output, revised mapping, or any engine work in the material shown alongside the car.

That means the standard numbers still define the package underneath: 62 mph (100 kph) arrives in 3.3 seconds, while top speed reaches 217 mph (350 kph). Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 continues to deliver 715 brake horsepower (533 kW/725 ps) and 528 pound-feet (716 Nm) of torque, figures that already place the model in territory many tuners would rather not disturb unless absolutely necessary.

Interestingly, those numbers also mean the Purosangue reaches 62 mph three-tenths quicker than the Ferrari Enzo, which remains one of those comparisons that sounds unusual even if the figures are official.

Visually, the car shown by DarwinPro Aero is finished in gray, combined with several black exterior accents and what appears to be exposed carbon fiber in selected areas. The wheel design stays relatively conservative: five-spoke alloys with a standard appearance rather than something highly sculpted or oversized.

Behind them sit yellow brake calipers, which stand out more than expected against the darker body finish. Ferrari emblems remain visible at the nose and on the fenders, so the tuner has not removed the brand’s normal identity cues.

Rumors also have it that the Italian-based carmaker is also preparing to introduce a more performance-focused model, with production to begin in a couple of months. Even if the news is undisclosed for the moment, an official reveal might not be far away.

Until then, buyers wanting visual changes sooner clearly have options. Whether this one feels elegant or excessive will depend entirely on where each viewer places the line.
