The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is back into the spotlight with another gorgeous and standout tuning project carried out by Larte Design tuning specialist. It has spent nearly five decades building that reputation with a shape that barely needs explanation: upright body, round headlamps, exposed door hinges, hood-mounted turn signals, a rear-mounted spare, and that grab handle for the front passenger when things get rough. LARTE Design looked at all of that and decided it did not need reinvention so much as amplification.

The project is based on the 2026 Mercedes-AMG G 63 facelift and wears LARTE Design’s full carbon styling kit, developed and produced entirely in Germany. The tuner says the package uses TUV-certified materials, Class-A surfaces, and revised front and rear-end architecture. The point was not to turn the AMG off-roader into some cartoonish display piece, or at least not openly. LARTE wanted it to stand apart from the many Gs that now tend to blur into one another.

Visually, it goes hard. Carbon fiber appears in the front and rear bumpers, side sills, mirror caps, roof spoiler, and even the brake light area. The spare wheel cover at the back has also been reworked in carbon fiber and now sits within a multi-layered structure. From the outside, the SUV looks broader, meaner, and more impatient than the regular version.

There is more. Buyers can spec a carbon hood either in exposed finish or painted in body color, while an optional roof light bar adds another clue that this is not a stock G 63. LARTE is also offering wheels with carbon blades that match the rest of the package, and the company says more components could be added later. So this may not even be the final form.

Another signature touch is the two exhaust outlets that are clustered together on one side. They emphasize the violence with the naked eye, but beneath the hood, the tuner has left the mechanical side to himself. That does not imply that the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 does not produce 577 horsepower (585 metric horsepower) and 627 pound-feet (850 Newton meters) of torque.

Those characters are not in much need of assistance. Even the G 63 takes 3.9 seconds to get up to 60 mph at a standstill, which is preposterous by the standards of a car of this shape and ground clearance. Top speed is 137 mph (220 kph) or 150 mph (241 kph) using AMG Driver’s Package.

LARTE has not announced pricing yet. Customers will be able to choose individual upgrades or order the full package, depending on how far they want to take the WINNER idea.
