There aren’t many situations where a Porsche 911 Turbo S feels short of power. It’s one of those cars that can embarrass considerably more exotic machinery without making much noise about it.
TECHART thinks there’s still room for improvement.
The German tuner has introduced a new upgrade programme for the latest 992.2 Turbo S, offering everything from carbon-fibre bodywork to engine modifications producing up to 811 hp.

That’s an extraordinary figure for a road-going 911. But the interesting part is that TECHART isn’t forcing customers to buy everything together.
The programme is modular, allowing owners to choose individual components rather than commit to a complete conversion. Someone might want different wheels and a sports exhaust without covering the entire car in carbon fibre.
Others will undoubtedly order the lot.
The aerodynamic package includes redesigned exterior components intended to give the Turbo S a more aggressive appearance. TECHART has also developed new forged wheels under its Formula IX Race range.

They provide a different look without abandoning the familiar proportions of Porsche’s flagship 911. And those proportions matter.
The Turbo S has always occupied an unusual position in the Porsche range. It’s enormously quick, yet considerably easier to live with than some of the company’s more track-focused models.
Turning it into something uncomfortable or excessively dramatic would rather defeat the purpose.
TECHART appears to understand that distinction.
The company offers suspension modifications alongside its aerodynamic components, giving owners additional ways to personalise the car’s behaviour.
There are also two newly developed exhaust systems.

That’s arguably more interesting than another enormous horsepower figure. Modern turbocharged performance cars can be remarkably quiet considering what they’re capable of, and the standard Turbo S isn’t exactly famous for having the loudest exhaust in the Porsche family.
TECHART wants to give it a more distinctive soundtrack.
Inside, customers can order individually finished materials and trim, with the company’s upholstery specialists offering extensive personalisation.
Of course, none of these modifications is essential.
A standard 911 Turbo S already delivers performance that most owners will never fully exploit on public roads. Adding power doesn’t suddenly make that performance easier to use.
But tuning has rarely been about necessity.
The attraction here is choice. TECHART isn’t presenting a single special edition with a fixed specification. It’s offering owners the opportunity to decide how far they want to go.
And if someone really believes their Porsche needs 811 hp, there’s now an answer.
