Pogea Racing Tuned McLaren 570S Becomes a Demon With 666 HP

Tuned By Pogea Racing The McLaren 570S Becomes a Demon With 666 HP

Pogea Racing decided that the current owners of a 570S McLaren don’t have to wait a whole more year to get a more powerful model of their car, and they made the devilish kit that is presented here for a reasonable price.

Part of the Sports Series list, which is a different mode of saying that it’s an entry-level model, the McLaren 570S is a mid-engine supercar in no need of introduction for McLaren aficionados.

All of that being said, its age is beginning to reveal, so the 570 horsepower produced by its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 is no longer as powerful as it was when the model first went on sale back in 2015, particularly since the car will soon be succeeded by a more powerful hybrid.

Southern Germany tuning firm Pogea Racing chose that some McLaren customers don’t need to wait that long for some extra power from the shallowest British model and recently released an upgrade kit that takes things to an absolutely diabolical level.

With 666 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, the McLaren 570S by Pogea Racing displays the McLaren 666S, therefore delivering performance numbers close to hypercar level.

The 0-100 kph acceleration now takes a merely 2.9 seconds, which is close to unusual for a rear-wheel-drive road car, with barely an extra 5 seconds being required to reach 200 kph. Top speed is a proper 334 kph.

To reach these numbers, Pogea provided the model with an all-new exhaust system from its own business, MONSTERexhaust, with an X-pipe connection and two electric highspeed tabs dynamically controlled via the CANBUS and therefore EURO6 and TÜV-compliant in all driving styles.

A set of HJS 200cpsi catalysts, the encapsulation of the downpipes and the whole exhaust system with thermal padding together with a Stage II engine control system, are responsible for squeezing the wicked amount of horsepower from the flat-plane V8.

To properly control that extra grunt, Pogea has also fitted the McLaren 666S with a coil-over suspension from KW and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S shod on concave, bidirectional 20-inch Pogea Jules wheels.

Surprisingly adequate and extremely powerful tuned engine with a good price, the 666S kit only goes for 11,000 euros including VAT in Germany.

The price is fairly lower than anybody expected it to be, technically being lower than 10k excluding VAT and any other taxes, which makes the kit, one of the most wanted power packages on the market.
